He was born in Valledupar, Colombia, in 1982. He received his B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Antioquia, Antioquia, Colombia, in 2009, and the Master degrees in Multimedia and Communications from the University Carlos III de Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 2011.

Currently he is doing his PostDoc in TU Delft. His current research interests include leaky wave antennas, frequency selective surfaces and phase array antennas.
